Section 15-20-24, Code of Alabama 1975, makes it a Class C Felony for any criminal sex offender to violate any Alabama Notification Act provision. . No criminal sex offender shall be allowed to establish a residence or accept employment within 2,000 feet of the property on which any public school, licensed day care center, or any other child care facility. . No criminal sex offender shall be allowed to establish a residence or any other living accommodation within 1,000 feet of the property on which of any his or her former victim(s), or victims immediate family members reside. . No criminal sex offender shall be allowed to establish a residence or any living accommodation where a minor resides, except as provided by law.
