The Enterprise Police Department arrested AMOS RAY PERDUE, (60) for Assault 2nd Degree last night after responding to a report of a shooting at 707 Mill Avenue. When police arrived at the residence they located John Terrell Flowers (46) in the front yard of his residence with a gun shot wound to his leg. Flowers stated that he and PERDUE were engaged in a verbal argument that turned physical. PERDUE then went to his room and returned with a 9mm handgun and shot him in the leg. Police were able to talk PERDUE out of the house without incident. At the time of his arrest he was in possession of two handguns including the 9mm that he used to shoot Flowers. ]
