All firearms training is conducted at the Enterprise Police Department's (EPD) Range. Officers must qualify on their assigned duty weapons annually. EPD officers are required to complete day, low light, and night fire courses on the range. The officers must complete a firearm qualification in accordance with Alabama Peace Officer Standards and Training Commission guidelines. The EPD's firearms instructors ensure that officers are proficient in the use of their issued duty weapons.
